Michael J. Sluka, Esq.
Michael J. Sluka, Esq., was a former partner in the firms of
Sluka & Northgrave, P.C. and Sluka & Drumeler, P.C. and has previously
served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Hudson County, after which he was
associated with the Jersey City law firm of Panepinto, Paolina, Doherty
& Mangin. Mr. Sluka holds a J.D. degree from New York Law School and
a B.A. magna cum laude from Rutgers University. Mr. Sluka, admitted
to practice in New Jersey and New York, concentrates on criminal and civil
litigation (including insurance defense and defense of police officers
in §1983 actions), transactional matters and bankruptcy. Mr. Sluka
has extensive trial experience, having tried various criminal and civil
matters in federal and state courts including the first anonymous federal
jury trial in New Jersey, a four and a half month RICO trial. Mr. Sluka
was also part of the Exxon Corporation defense team, having successfully
represented his client before three separate Grand Juries after the 1990
oil spill in the Arthur Kill. Mr. Sluka currently serves as Affordable
Housing Counsel for the County of Hudson.
Lawrence D. Minasian, Esq.
Lawrence D. Minasian, Esq. was previously associated with the
law offices of Steven I. Greene. Mr. Minasian is a trial attorney who
practices in the area of personal injury, civil and criminal litigation.
He has extensive experience defending public housing authorities, governmental
entities, law enforcement officers and private insurance carriers in personal
injury and civil rights litigation. He has also represented a volume of
plaintiffs in personal injury cases including wrongful death, motor vehicle,
premise liability, workers’ compensation and medical malpractice
claims. Mr. Minasian has served as a law clerk for the Honorable Arthur
L. Troast, a Judge of the Superior Court Law Division of Bergen County.
Mr. Minasian is a cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University
School of Law and a cum laude graduate from Seton Hall University
and a Barrister in Seton Hall University School of Law’s Inn of
Court.
